There are a lot of great books out there about tea, tea drinking and brewing, tea parties and food for tea times. I have several great books. I will list the books I have purchased below as well as several highly recommended on the Tea Groups I participate in:
- The Art of Tea This is my favorite tea book. It has gorgeous images, and lots of good information on tea history, type of tea, tea tools, how to brew tea, and some good recipes.
- The Complete Guide to Healing Herbal Teas This is a good book to start learning about the benefits of herbal teas.
- The Tea Book, Experience the Worlds Finest Teas Learn about blends, tasting and ceremonies from all around the world and how to pick he best teas from different regions. Learn the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
- If Teacups Could Talk This book by Emilie Barnes helps you understand the special relationships that tea can foster.
- The Graceful Art of Tea This book by Nan Taylor invites you to learn about the joys of “making” and “taking tea”
- Teatime Parties This book discusses the fun of celebrating special occasions with tea. There are beautiful pictures, a good tea-pairing guide and details on tea steeping.
- Royal Teas More great recipes from Mark Flannagan on awesome tea time treats.
- The Perfect Afternoon Tea Recipe Book by Antony Wild (Author), Carol Pastor (Author). This book was Winner of the Best Pastry and Desserts Cookbook at the Gourmand International Cookbook Awards 2020!
- The Pleasures of Tea lots of recipes for parties including bridal and childrens parties. Info about pretty teacups and about running a tea Room.
