I have researched some different type party favors to gift to my own hosted tea party guests. Here are some suggestions with links below: (I will keep adding additional suggestions as I find more).
- Tea Spoons. I gave individual tea spoons to guests at my first Tea Party along with a special Herbal tea bag in a cute little mesh drawstring bag.
- Another gift I included to my first party guests was a single special herbal teabag.
- Little diffusers make nice tea party gifts. You can purchase them with little pendant/charms or choose your own charms.
- Another cool party favor is to provide a single cupcake with an edible topper to each guest. I’m thinking for my Easter Tea Party, I’ll purchase some plain frosted cupcakes and add one of these edible flower toppers to each cupcake. There are many types of sweet edibles you can purchase which could fit with your theme.
- Single cloth napkins can be part of your tea party favor. I’ve ordered some decorated napkins for my Easter Tea Party that matches my tablecloth and runner that I will gift to each of my guests. I’ll fold their gift napkin pretty (by the way I’ll be blogging about different ways to fold your cloth tea party napkins soon).
- On the subject of cloth favors, think about a single vintage ladies handkerchief as a gift. There are some very pretty ones available.
- Small items like a pretty scented tea candle will be something your guests can enjoy by themselves after the party. You can even gift a small votive candle holder to each guest along with their scented tea lite; better yet try to stay with the theme color of your tea party.
- Special bookmarks are always appreciated. Stick with your theme if you can. If you are creative, you might make them yourself.
- An awesome gift for very special guests would be to gift each with a tea cup and saucer of their own to take home. You can pick up pretty cups/saucers at many antique and thrift stores throughout the year and Etsy has many shops offering mixed sets or single cup/saucers.
- Your tea loving guests will truly appreciate mini jars of honey or jelly
- Of course you can always put several individually wrapped edible treats in a small bag or sack to gift your guests. Here’s a cool way to fold your cloth napkin to create a small treat basket. (the video uses paper but you can use your linen napkin folded this way also.
- Small fascinator hats with gloves make a wonder gift if your budget can cover them. Fascinators are also great as a wonderful activity for your guests to try on and have their picture taken as part of your tea party.
Packaging/Presenting Your Party Favors
- Small drawstring gift bags can be used to package your gifts. I used this particular one for my first guests. Here’s another cute bag. There are some great small boxes of different sizes available also. You can even find theme related ones.
