Something Fun!
Today I did something fun. I created a new T-shirt design and added it to my Tea Time Shop.
I chose a women’s V-neck T-shirt with short sleeves this time. I decided to be a little brave and offer several color choices along with the standard white.
My new design is a testament to my love of tea. The text, “Tea Time Is My Happy Place,” is very true for me. And I love the floral steaming teacup image that my Teapot AI assistant helped create.
I love to set up my tea ritual with my favorite teacup and saucer and a kettle of steaming water. I bring out my tea journal (one of my favorite products in my Tea Time Shop) and my new Kindle Colorsoft, and I’m all set to read, watch the birds outside my window, jot down my thoughts and plans, and enjoy my favorite Turmeric Ginger Tea from The Republic of Tea. I’ve been drinking this for a couple of years to help reduce inflammation, and I love it. The taste is ok, but I can always add a bit of honey, cinnamon, or some other spice to enhance the flavor. I usually end up drinking the entire kettle.
I do enjoy reading, and I have to admit my new Kindle Colorsoft reader is very cool. I have been using the Kindle app on my iPhone, but decided to get the newcolorsoft because it has less glare when I read outside on my deck, and the screen is larger than my iPhone 15 Max. I recommend the Colorsoft if you are ready to upgrade.
When my new design was finished, I added it to my Tea Time Shop and immediately ordered one to send to my aunt, along with some Turmeric Ginger Tea.
She enjoys sitting on her little porch, and now that the weather is finally warm enough here in Arkansas, she can wear her new short-sleeve T-shirt while sipping tea and watching the birds at her feeder.
My Aunt Violet is my only remaining aunt—my dad’s younger sister—and she’s now in her 80s. I call her once a week so we can catch up on family news and life in general. She lives about a five-hour drive away, and since I rarely travel these days, our phone calls help keep us close.
Creating this shirt made me happy, but knowing my beloved aunt will enjoy it makes me even happier.
For my aunt I ordered the Coral Silk color.
